ROCHESTER, May 25, 2016 — Bristol ID employees joined a crowd of 10,236 runners and walkers from 402 companies competing in the 26th annual JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge held at RIT in Rochester, on May 24th.
The Corporate Challenge was held at 7 pm Tuesday evening. Participating companies use the event as a platform to promote health and fitness in the workplace, foster goodwill and camaraderie among their employees, and show their commitment to the community and best environmental practices. The Corporate Challenge strives to make a difference through a donation to a not-for-profit organization in each host city, and through their operations initiatives designed to make the Corporate Challenge the world’s greenest road race.
With a Bristol ID team of thirty racers, the card printing industry was well represented on the 3.5-mile course and the 81 degrees did not slow them down. Bristol ID’s Bryan Jones, Lam Press Technician, led the Bristol team with a stunning time of 20:09, finishing 23rd overall – WOW! Keith Yeates, Bristol ID President, came in second on the Bristol men’s team and first overall in his age group – we had some strong contenders. Top finisher for the Bristol women’s team was Diane Morsch, Director of Sales and Marketing. Way to go team!
